H1-B under US Masters Degree Quota

Hi,

I did my Masters from US in 2009 and worked there on H1-B from Oct. 2011 till April 2012. Afterwards I moved to India.

Now I am planning to apply for H1-B this year. My question is will I fall under 20000 cap for US Masters Degree Quota or have to apply under 65000 general cap.

It would depend upon how your employer files the H1 petition. If job requires a Master's then you will fall under the 20K category and would get two attempts at lottery (if there is a lottery).
