can i travel to india after applying H1b

Hi,

I am currently in H4 i am applying my H1b Visa this April 2016, and planning to visit india by april 17th and returning back on may 10th ... will this travel affect my H1b process... is this good to travel when H1b is under process, plz do advice me on this doubt.... TIA
