Travel ton India and back to US while H1b Amendment is in Progress

My H1B stamping is valid up to JUL 2017 , Can i travel to India (due to some family urgency) as my H1B Amendment is in progress??

Currently I am in Golden, Colorado and my H1B Amendment was filled on AUG 2015 due to location change from M***aukee, Wisconsin to Golden, Colorado (Client is same and company is same). My H1B stamping is valid up to 20 JUL 2017 . My initial LCA and Petion was for Millercoors, M***aukee (Wisconsin), so i changed my LCA for Millercoors, Golden (Colorado) and then came to U.S on 16th May 2015 and after that my Amendment was filled on Aug 2015 for the same.

Also please let me know if there is any risk involved while returning back to U.S. And do i need to carry H1B Amendement recipt while travelling.

You can travel out, but to re-enter, you need the amended approval notice. If you are in a hurry, then upgrade the case to premium and get the result within 15 days.
