H1B Extension, Passport expiring

Hi,

I have my H1B till Aug 2016 and my passport is expiring in May-2017. My employer will start the my H1B extension process soon.

I am going to India this November and have to go for stamping.

My questions;

1. When I go for Visa stamping in November, do you see any issue in getting the Visa since I will have only 6 months left on my passport?
2. What are the options available for me to avoid any issue in getting the visa stamped and coming back the USA.
3. When do you suggest me to go for passport renewal.

I would suggest you renew your passport while in US. You can start the passport renewal as early as May 2016.
