How job change affects H4 extension

My H1B and dependents H4 was under normal extension processing. Our I-94 got expired on 31st Dec. Employer changed my H1B to Premium processing and just got approval. But H4 still under normal processing and seems it will take another couple of months to get approval. Now my question, if I tried to change my employer, how it affect my dependents as their I-94 already expired.

You changing employer will not have impact on the pending H4 extension as long as you or the employer doesn't withdraw the H4 extension that was already filed.
