Urgent - L1 to B2 to H1B
Hi experts..need your urgent help..!
I was working in US on L1 (Specialized Knowledge) since 2013.
I was released by employer in Dec 2015, due to recent layoffs.
As my spouse was continuing medical treatment in US since mid 2015, we decided to continue it till it end hence, applied for B2.
So, we'll be getting B2 till June 2016.
Meanwhile, I'm getting offers from US employers.
Questions:
1. H1B route (if my luck shines in lottery):
What are all options we have to stay in US from June 2016 to Oct 2016?
2. EB2 NIW:
Looking at NIW requirements on USCIS web, I think I can fulfill 4-5 requirements,
If we (employer and me) choose this route, how early I could start working with new employer? (I'm an Indian born individual).
