How to know my h1b is approved or not

Today me and my family finished h1b visa interview at Chennai and did not told me that it is approved or rejected or on hold. They took mine and family passport and said thank you. But I do not know that it is approved or not and even I did not ask anything to them also. How do I get to know it is approved or rejected.

Seems odd. You should have asked. Please post the Q&A session between you/your family and the VO.
