I have a question on clock reset.
I stayed in USA from March 2010 through October 31st 2012 in L1B visa. I went back to India on October 31st 2012.
April 1st 2013 my company applied H1B visa for me. Luckily it was selected in lottery and petition got approved. I didn't go for visa interview.
Another employer applied for a cap exempt petition using my fresh H1B with a start date of November 15 2013. I went for visa stamping and my visa got stamped on November 5th 2013 which has start date November 15th 2013. I traveled back to USA in H1B visa after November 15th 2013.
My question is as my H1B visa start date is November 15th 2013 i.e. 1 year and 15 days after I left USA(31st October 2012) did my 6 years clock got reset?
Also please share share a link of USCIS website or other valid website which clearly states the clock reset rule.
