Can I file H1B renewal with other employer with the old approved I-129(not stamped .

I have one approved petition (period 1st October,2011 to 31st march,2014) which is currently in expired state.
Due to family constraint I was not able to travel to US and hence the H1b never got stamped.

I do not have any document related to old petition. I have only the receipt number for old approved I-129.

Can I file H1B renewal with other employer with the old approved I-129(only with receipt number) .

Approval of I129 results in I797. If you dont have the I797 it may be difficult for employer to claim cap exemption.
