i had a Question regarding H1B VISA , i am working for a comapany x on H1B and now comapny name got changed to Y. so now i am planing to go back to my home country for vacation . so what changes i have to do on my h1b before i go for vacation to make sure that i don't have any immigreation issues.

Till when is your current H1B visa valid?

An H1B amendment has to be applied by the employer. The approval of this amendment would result in a new I797 .

my H1 is valid till 2018.

amendment what you are talking about is something like a h1b transfer process ?

Does it mean H1 Visa stamp in passport is valid till 2018?

Its not technically a "transfer". But the process is similar.
