I-140 cleared and H4 EAD also approved

my company had filed for my I 140 and it got approved in march 2016. For precaution sake, as they had forgotten to file my H1-b extension in time, they filed for my H4 EAD also and that also got approved today(April 2016). Now I am confused as to what status I am . They are saying they sent cancellation for H4 EAD after 140 was cleared but seems that did not work.

I am worried as to what my status is. Any pointer.

Are you currently in H1 status or H4 status? Meaning are you working for company while on H1 or H4?
