I got into H1B quota in 2015. I am planning to go to India for H1B stamping. I am currently working with company A. Another company B also had applied for my H1B transfer and it is approved. However due to some personal issues, I have decided to not join company B and stay with company A. My question is that
- while filling DS160 and scheduling visa appointment, they ask for Receipt number. What should that receipt number be? My understanding is that this will be company A's H1B receipt number but wanted to confirm.
- Also can there be any complication during stamping because company B applied for H1B for me but I am not joining them.
