H1B Restamping procedure at Mumbai [ Drop box]

Hi,

I am going to visit India around July 2016
I want to stamping at Mumbai for my extended visa,

I heard that now there is no existing procedure for restamping,
no need to give an interview etc,
Rather there is a drop box where we can submit our visa extension stamping documents,

Is anyone have an idea about this drop box process?
Do we get any receipt regarding submited document and passport into the drop box? (For Proof)
