Where must i book my visa interview?

Hi,
We have finally received our I-797 acceptance form and must now book a visa appointment. We already filled in and paid for the DS-160 a week ago, booked in London, but there are NO appointments literally ever. So now we are looking at sucking up the cost >.< and going to Ireland instead. However, the consulate listed on the I-797 form is London. Does that mean we have to fill out the DS-160 for London and go to the interview there or can we fill it out for Belfast and interview there? We are now half way through the forms for Belfast when we noticed the consulate is listed as London...really don't want to waste any more time on this by going to the wrong place!
