H1b Amendment and extension time

Hi,

I am currently having stamped visa(H1B) which is going to expire in Oct 2016 (I haven't traveled yet) . Currently i am getting opportunity to travel for another location from the same company. How much time it takes for Amendment and extension under normal and PP? Also do i need to go for stamping again?

2-4 weeks under premium 2-4 months under normal processing, privided no RFE. As Oct is just 3 Months away it's advisable that you get yourself a new visa even if amendment is approved prior to that.
