  • H1B Extension in E-V-V-C model

    Hi All,

I am working with a consulting firm and just got my I140 approved in EB2.I will be completing my 6 years in Feb 2017
so I need to apply for my H1B extension so that I can work after 6 year. But I am working in E-V-V-C model i.e
there are two more companies between my company and the client.I am reading other people experience and they are saying
there are very slim chances of extension approval as there are two layers. So please advise:
    1) Shall I try to get some other project so that there is less layers which will take 2-3 months and I will be able to work in
E-V-C model as my company don't have direct client and will always have at lease layer .
    2) Will it be ok if I apply extension before 2-3 months of 6 years completion? As mentioned in question1 it will take 2-3 months to get new project.
    3) If I apply in current working model E-V-V-C then what all documents will be needed and what are the chances of approval?

    Thanks,
    Cuti
