  • H1B Stamping and LCA

    Hello Experts

I have a quick question that when does stamping starts for this Year cap.
Also in case of change in the LCA ,this has to be done before stamping or after stamping.

    Thanks

LCA precedes H1 application. So if you already got H1 approval, the LCA for the location of you work specified in the H1 approval would already be done.

As for Stamping, H1 stamping for, you can apply for an H1B visa up to 90 days in advance of the start date on the I-797. You can enter US max 10 days prior to the start date on the I-797, provided your H1 stamping is approved.

This is my opinion not legal advice.
