Hi,
I have gone to USA on h4 in Mar 2015 and have end date is 15 Apr 2017. Meanwhile I have applied for H1B with Change of status option in Apr 2015 and got approved I797A on Nov 25th 2015. I have made an emergency travel to India on Nov26th 2015. I couldn't travel until now due to illness. I'm planning to travel in Oct or Nov after getting my H1B stamped.
- In this case if my H1b goes on 221g status instead of waiting in India can I travel on my h4?
- if I'm traveling on h4 can I file an exten from USA for h4 post Apr 2017 based on my husbands petiotion ?
- What had happened to my h4's i94 as my new i797a has new i94 and change of status is approved?
- what is my status right now as I'm not working with approved h1b.?
Can anyone help me with answering these question please?
