Hi Team,
Need your advice on my current situation, I am holding a valid H1B visa with Company A's name stamped on it which is good till Sep 2017. Currently I am working for Company B whose I797 is valid till May 2018, I didn't go for stamping after doing my first H1 transfer to Company B. My dependents are holding H4 visa with Company B's name stamped which is good till May 2018. Now I am planning to do my H1 transfer to Company C, while doing so attorney is asking to transfer H4 too. Below are the doubts based on my current situation.
1. Is there anything like H4 transfer? I have never heard of such
2. Is it mandatory do something with my dependents H4 when I am transferring my H1?
3. If I didnt do that H4 transfer, will there be any problem for my dependents during arrival if we go to India and come back? or nothing happens if they carry my new I797 with their H4 with my company B's name.
4. Shall I just do my H1 transfer now and send my dependents for stamping around May 2018 without doing anything now for them?
