I have to travel to India due to an urgency. My visa expired 2 months back, and I know I can avail the interview waiver program.
Since I have to come back to the US in few weeks, I would like to know how much time it would take for me to get the passport with the visa stamped if I drop the documents (including passport) in the drop-box ?
My native place comes under Chennai consulate's jurisdiction. And I see that for getting interview appointment, the wait time is around 130 days. So, I am worried even interview waiver processing time would be more ...
