Amendment requirement for h1b

I need to move to a new client location within 5 miles and job responsibility remains the same. It's just that the team has moved to a new office. My question is whether there is a requirement to get a new LCA and to file for H1B amendment. My employer is saying that a new LCA is required but the H1B amendment is not required. Could someone please help?

This is not a new client. I am working for the same client in the same project. It's just that the team has moved to a new office within 5 miles. My questions are - 1) Is a new LCA required? 2) Is a new amendment required?
