Resume Inflation

Hi,

I hold an H1 with one of consultant from NJ. Stamping is done, now the process of client interviews has started.
Before that my consultant want to 'Finalize' my resume which he can send to the clients, in which he is making my 5 yrs of experience into a 7+ into my resume.
Which is clashing with my last education. To avoid confusion his idea is to remove the dates from the education qualifications section :-)

I am afraid that If any client offers me a permanent job I will be in a trouble? Because most major companies do a very thorough check of your references and resume.

Please suggest me what should I be doing.

Not a good idea to make up your resume with **** experience. You already have good number of yrs of experience. Most of the clients do a reference check before they hire/or take on contract. It may cause problems down the lane in future.
