H4 DS160 immigration filed by relative(uncle) concern.

Hello Everyone,

My fiance's Uncle(Dad's brother/sibling) filed an immigration petition for her family of 4 a while back. The file is currently at NVC for processing. She is already 25 and will be married by end of the November.I am currently filing her DS-160 application for the H4 visa in early December.Under the section where they asked has anyone filed an immmigration petition, I have selected "YES" and gave the explanation that her uncle filed it a years back for their family.

I have a few concerns -->

-> Does this affect her interview at the US visa consulate for H4?

No, it does not as H4 visa is dual intent visa.

In any case, you should have answered No because no one filed for her immigrant visa, she was just a derivative beneficiary.
