Will H1B stamping be impacted for TaxDue

Hi Team,

I was in USA for the period 2008 to 2010. I have Tax Dues of $2000 for 2009 and for 2010 I have not submitted IT returns as I traveled back to india in September.

This year my H1B case is approved and I am about to go for stamping. Will my Tax Dues will impact stamping.

I doubt, but being outside US is no reason to not file taxes. Lots of online tax filers do it remotely. Might be a good ideas to get a clean slate once in US.
