    221g after dropbox

    Hi,

I had the same scenario, had my previous visa stamped with different employer than the petitioner, I was eligible for dropbox and had dropped all the requested documents at VFS.
I got a 221G and passport returned asking for more employer documents.

Still waiting to hear from Consulate.

    Regards
    Arun

      DropBox Eligibility

Can somebody please confirm my dropbox eligibility? I changed my employer in Dec 2015 and My first H-1B Visa expired in Sep 2016.
These were my answers on dropbox questions:

      1) Do you have a previous H‐1B visa (temporary occupation, temporary worker or trainee)? ---- Yes

      2) Was your prior H1B visa (temporary occupation, temporary worker or trainee) annotated “Clearance Received” or “Department Authorization”? ----- No, there is no annotation

      3) Have you ever been refused a H‐1B (temporary occupation, temporary worker or trainee) visa before? ---- No

      4) Is your previous H‐1B visa (temporary occupation, temporary worker or trainee) still valid? ---- No

      5) Did your previous H‐1B visa (temporary occupation, temporary worker or trainee) expire within the last 12 months? ---- Yes, it expired on Sep 1, 2016

      6) Was your most recent H‐1B visa (temporary occupation, temporary worker or trainee) issued in India after January 1, 2008? -Yes, most recent H-1B visa issued in May 2014.

Also in my DS160 form I am not sure about ten-printing question (whether to answer yes or no). I am pretty sure I went to OFC/VAC in May for photo and fingerprints in May 2014 (last h-1 stamping), but not quite sure I was ten-printed. I thought I would have to go for the interview/VAC this time also, so I would get it done again, but now with dropbox option it doesn't ask me for finger printing. So should I fill YES to ten-printed question? thinking that I may have got it done last time. What do you suggest?
