OPT STEM/ H1B Visa
I am currently working on OPT and have received the STEM Extension, which allows me to work on OPT for another 2 years. In the meanwhile, my company has also applied for H1B Visa and I have been approved. My lawyer is suggesting that I continue with my H1B for as long as I can and then start H1B, as they files it for consular processing. However, I am confused as to what to do. I want to get my H1B started as soon as possible, as I donot plan to stay with this company for too long and dont want to prolong the process. What should I do?
