Approved H1 petition but never used

Hello,
My H1 petition was selected by lottery in year May'2014, but I never went for stamping or its never used.
Also the petition was valid till Dec' 2015 only . The employer who processed this H1 is no more interested, can I transfer it to another employer and get it renewed as well.
I have a copy of the I-797.
