H4 india travel while h1b has transfer receipt in hand

Got laid off. But effective termination date is Mid january.

Wife wishes to travel to India with my current I797 A form which is valid till 2019.*

She plans to return by end of December. At port of entry, What if she had got stamping with current company's I797 and *i might have started h1 transfer/may have joined new company.*

Will she still be okay to enter USA ? No probs at Port of entry?
