Dear All
Im planning to go for H1B Visa stamping very soon (by end of this month). I am based out of Kolkatta (have kolkatta address in my passport) but planning to go to mumbai for one of my friend's marriage (will be there for almost 15 days). So I am planning to take my interview in Mumbai itself.
1. Is it allowed to do so?
2. If it is allowed, do I need to mention Mumbai as my state of residence (which is different from my passport address)? Or
3. Will it be ok to select Kolkatta as my state of residence and attend interview in Mumbai?
Can some one please assist in this regards? Quick response is really appriciated. I checked in different forums but did't get the suitable post.
