Query on VISA stamping when amendment is requested.
Hi All,
My H1B petition is approved in Aug-2016 for client 'X' and location 'Y'.I haven't do VISA stamping yet. I have raised H1B amendment request with same employer as client and location is changed. Could you please help me on below queries?
1. Do I need to wait for approval receipt for amendment before going for stamping? Or only H1B amendment receipt notice along with original petition approval is sufficient to go for stamping?
2. Can I travel if VISA is stamped with above document even though amendment approval is not received?
3. I want to go for stamping along with my wife. Any specific documents required for dependant stamping?
Please help on this.
