administrative processing SINCE 1 WEEK

Hi Guys,

Here is my situation - I attended interview on 29th Nov, 2016, for my H1B stamping. Counselor said Visa will be approved by EOD and will let you know when you can pick up the passport. But its been exactly 7 days now, and when I track it status says " Still with Embassy" or Administrative processing.

Last status update date was on dec 1st. I have my flight to go back to US on 13th dec.

Its really frustrating why it is taking so long.

Can anybody help me out ? I know I need to have patience but more information would be helpful
