Will be applying for H1B in April 2017. Indian Passport expires in Sept 2017.
The company that I work for will be applying for my H1B visa this year in April 2017. Documentations for which will start mid February 2017.
I am currently on my student OPT extension. I will be applying for a renewal at the Houston Indian Embassy.
My question is if a apply for a renewal now(ending January 2017) will I get back the passport back before mid-February. Does this situation qualify for the tatkal process ?
Do i need to renew my passport before applying for H1B?
