Needed HELP :confused:

I have a valid B1 visa till 2011, One of the employer in US is applying H1 for me this year - 2006. on my passport in place of my given name motioned as FNU and in place of surname my full name. if i get it changed from passport office by dividing my name in to given name and surname, will it effect my valid B1?

Given Name :FNU
Surname : YYYY YYYY XX

Visa: FNU YYYY ZZZ ZZZ

Hi,
If your name is changed, either an endorsement will be made or a new passport will be issued. In any case, you can staple both the passports together and carry proof for the change of name. Your old visa will still hold good. But always carry proof for the change of name.
