Hi All,
need information on the below scenario, can you please help.
1. I got my H1B petition approved from company X for the client A and I got I-797B approval with end date in June 2018, I went for stamping and my visa is stamped with end date in June 2018.
2. But my client A project is completed so I had to raise an amendment for client B ( via same company X) and I got I 797B approval notice with end date as Feb 28 2017. No change in visa stamping end date in passport as I do not need to go for stamping...
3. travelled to US with this details and in port of entry, immigration officer stamped my I-94 end date as in june 2018 ( I think as per my stamped visa in the passport )
4. now working for client B for 6 months as the project is finished I filed for H1B amendment 6 months back as I had to move to Client C.
5. now the query is shall I apply for H1B extension as my Latest H1B I 797B approval end date is Feb 28 2017 or can I continue working for Client C as I already raised H1B amendment and my I-94 is valid until June 2018?
