Suggestions please - H1 petition approved in 2004 November

I'm in US currently on L1 B visa. I'm going back to India and planning to get my H1 stamped. The problem is that my H1 petition was approved in November 2004. Will there be any issues if go for stamping now. Please let me know your inputs. Thanks in advance.

I'm planning to have a new H1 processed now and appear for stamping instead of using the old H1. Please let me know if this is a better idea. I'm worried that my old H1 was approved in November 2004. Not sure if anyone had this problem. If anyone can provide any more info, that would be much appreciated.
