  • Validity of status with new H1 rule

    Hi,
I am on h1 and was laid off a month back. I am in the process of interviewing and expecting something to work out in the next few weeks. Given with the new rule I have the grace period of 60 days , is it a good plan to wait for another few weeks before moving to a h4 visa on my spouse's h1?
If I apply for h4 now, I am afraid it will be in between status in case I do find a job in the next few weeks.
Appreciate any inputs on the same.

    Thanks

It does not matter what you do. It works out the same way.
