My Story: 3 times F1 Rejections in 2011. Now applied for h1. (Rejections did not affect the H1 stamping though)
Me: Good Morning
VO: Good Morning. Please pass me your I-797 and passport
VO: So you will be working for YYYY Employer?
Me: yes
VO: Do you work at Employer location?
Me: No (this is a remote position)
VO: If this is a remote position you can work from India right?
Me: I need to travel to Client location once in a month for Client meetings. (Felt VO was satisfied with the ans)
VO: So who is your client?
VO: Can you spell it?
VO: What does your client do?
VO: Do you have client letter?
VO: What is your project? Can you explain about it?
VO: What is your highest qualification?
VO: What is your Designation?
VO: What is your pay?
VO: Did you work for the same client previously in INDIA?
VO: How long will you stay in USA?
VO: I am issuing you visa.
It was a tough interview; the visa officer was around 45+ and was keenly observing all the answers and client letter…..
Finally the golden words came. Thanks to this site for the guidance.
