Issues with H1B Amendment validity

Hello Everyone,
I have a valid H1B approval and stamped VISA until 30th April, 2017. My I94 information also showing that I can admit until 30th April, 2017. I got an amendment approval notice which Valid from 18th Jan, 2017 to 31st March, 2017, which is expiring before my current H1B approval expire date. Then, I applied and got the H1B Extension which valid from 30th April, 2017 to 29th April, 2018.

>> Am I eligible to work in my current location after 31st of March as my Amendment is expiring? If not eligible, please let me know what I have to do to continue in current location?

>> I am going to India on 6th April, 2017 and I have VISA stamping interview in USA consulate on 10th April, 2017. Is there any possibility of facing issue in stamping for this discrepancy?

As per my employer, I am eligible to work in my current location and there will be no issue with VISA stamping.

Please let me know if your experience is different.
