Old I797- can H4 still get entry in US

Hi Experts,

I have a valid h4 visa till 2018 and my husband has also received h1b extension till 2021.
I have old I797 of my husband valid till last year ie 2016 only.
I have to travel US immediately and I can't ask my husband for his new I797.
Can I still get entry on the basis of his old expired I797.
I do have I94 and a valid visa.
Plz help me.

You need his latest I797 to show at the POE. If you take the risk and show old one, and get caught, you may be deported back.
