H1B Amendment query - Urgent Help needed
Good Day,
I have a H1B and working for client in Atlanta. My organization want me to relocate to Ohio, therefore they have filled the Visa ammendment/Extension for the new location.
I have received the LCA for the new location and also recevied the Visa Ammendment/Extension receipt from USCIS. I have received the receipt a week ago and it current status is "Document received".
My Wife is pregnant by 6 months and I feel it as better to stay back in my current location till the child birth (July-August). Your suggestion on my below queries is very much appreciated.
1). Since I have received the LCA & Receipt, Should I have to travel to the new location immediately.
2). Can I work for the existing client from my current location until I get the status (Approved or Rejected) on my Ammendment/Extension process.
3). How long does it takes to know the status of my application
