Chances of visa denial

I am on H4 visa. My visa expired in 2016. But I got the I-797 in 2016 which is valid till 2019. I'm planning to go to India in May. Once I go there, I should go to the US embassy for visa stamping. My concern is, since there is a lot of immigration issues going on now, will it affect my chances of getting a visa? How do you see the chances of my visa being denied because of the current situation in US? Do they have a valid reason to deny my visa?

Cases of H4 denial are very very rare. As long as your spouse's H1B is in good standing, you need not worry about your H4.
