  • My H1B expired, wants to re-issue, Please let me know the procedure

    All,

    I have expired H1B which got stamped on the year 2006 and was worked in USA-Chicago for 4months a with client.
    Due course of time visa got expired and now wants to re-apply or re-issue it to go to USA again.
    Please help me to know the procedure how I can get it stamped it again and what are the steps I need to follow.
    Looking for your help and Thank you for your time and consideration.

      Your H1 cannot be used for cap exempt petition. You have to wait until 2019's quota to open up (in April 2018) and apply afresh.

        Thanks for your reply.

        Will it be a fresh case as I have not stayed in US for 6 Years(stayed only 4months), will I will exempt from the Lottery process?
        I am hearing that it can be reapplied, is that true?
        Please give appropriate answer.

          Yes it will be fresh case and you will have to go through lottery, if there is one.
