As per elgibility criteria, I'm eligible to IWP and DROP-BOX. Why It is aksing to book OFC appointment instead of DROPBOX details.

I have a previous U.S. visa in the same class as the visa for which I wish to apply -YES
My most recent visa was issued in India - YES
I received my visa after January 1, 2008 -YES
My prior visa is not annotated “Clearance Received” or “Department Authorization”. - YES
My most recent visa (in the same class for which I am applying) was issued on or after my 14th birthday -YES
I have no refusals for a visa in any class after my most recent visa issuance - YES
I am applying for an H1 visa, my prior visa in the same class is expired within the last 12 months. - YES

While I'm trying to book an appointment (all four together), after first two questions it is taking to receipt entry page, after that asking to book OFC appointment.

Why It is aksing to book OFC appointment instead of DROPBOX details.

Any update regarding the dropbox process??

Hello Venkata,
My situation is similar to yours, and they are asking me for OFC appointment and not dropbox. I coudlnt find any reply to your question on the forum. So could you please let me know if you ended up going for OFC appointment or did you qualify for dropbox process.

Any help is highly appreciated.
