Working on I797B approval notice
Hi,
Currently I am in the USA and holding H4 visa. This year my H1b petition got selected in lottery and have received I797B without I-94 copy.
In this situation -
1. Can I apply for SSN?
2. Can I start working on I797B approval notice?
As per my employer, I can apply for SSN and start working. Is that correct?
