Dear All,
My wife went to India 2 days back & she went to the Hyderabad consulate for VISA interview.. The officer mentioned that he didn't find my latest I797 in the systems. So, my wife gave them the copy of I797 she was carrying with her.
The officer said that it will take a couple of days to get updated in the system. And that they will send an email if approved or seek more information. The status now shows Administrative Processing. Is there anything that I should or could do? Reach out to my attorney or HR?
Does anyone know how or why my I797 is not updated in the system? FYI: My I797 petition was approved in July 2016.
Any info is appreciated...
