H1 to H4 COS and EAD concurrent filling

Has anybody recently filed for H1 to H4 COS and H4 EAD concurrently. If so, how long did it take for you.
Mine was filed in August this year and have not received any update yet.

any updates? i am on the same boat...moving from H1 to H4 EAD ..wife's i140 got approved so concurrently i am applying for the EAD

did you use the same SSN # that you had on H1 while filing for the EAD ? or did you ask for a new SSN card under question 10?

No, I think lawyer used same SSN. I did not ask for any new SSN card.

how much did your lawyer charge you for H4 COS/EAD..we have a quote of $700 and debating whether to avail of it or not..
