Hello,
My wife got 1 year h1b which got expired on Sep 30, 2017. She works for big Indian consulting company A (which president doesnt like). Company A filed for extension which got a RFE and now they have replied to the RFE. Legally she can work for company a upto 240 days from the day her visa expired.
My question is: Can she search for a new job and move to a new company B until the RFE is cleared? or she has to wait for first RFE to be cleared, her visa gets valid renewal and then start the transfer process to company B?
