Taking a preschooler along for OFC and consulate interview - Mumbai - experiences?
Hi,
I am moving from L to H status and for that we're coming to India to do visa stamping. Now we don't belong to Mumbai so we don't have anyone reliable to keep her while we finish formalities.
Its unclear now if we can bring her to OFC and consulate. USA Travel Docs say "You are not required to being a child less than 14 years of age"..but now we have no one to look after our kid while we do this.
Anyone had been through similar situation? Any experience? I wrote to support email of US travel docs but they sent me copy of the text from their website - which did not answer my question.
