  • Changing the company before H1 interview

    Hi,
Currently i am working for a company ABC in India.I had applied for H1 personally for this year quota.May be i may need to attend the interview around october or november.

But recently i have got an offer from another firm with a better package than my currently one.But even though i join the new employer i really want to go for the H1.So now i am in a state of confusion whether to change my job becoz of the pay or stick to the current employer till the H1 interview.

If i change my company now will there be any problem for me in the H1 interview(asking me why you have left your employer like that) which can be around this end of year.

Can any one suggest me regarding this?

    Thanks in advance

you can shift to new company

    hi,
you can move to new company that is no problem at all.

i understood that your papers are not released and still in the process
you have 5 to 6 months gap to attend the interview at consulate.

VO will ask why you moved to New company?
you have to show your salry some high than the previous company.
and explain the such things why you left and joined new one

i send 3 to 4 people who have the same case of You to the inteview since last year .

Changing the company before H1 interview

      Hello vam123,
You have mentioned you applied for your H1 personally. Don't you need a company as your petitioner/employer. I am assuming what you mean is that you paid the petition and lawyer fees yourself. It is a similar case with me.
I too want to find out whether one's petition can be transferred to another petitioner/company before the H1 interview. Do let me know your inputs.
      Thanks and Regards,
      FI
