RFE on amendment but H1 Extension got approved for same location .

My employer has applied for amendment in Feb , as my current H1 was getting expired in October my employer has applied for extension for same location and client in PP. Now i got the approval for extension but got an RFE for amendment.
What are my options ? should my employer with draw the amendment or should send a letter stating that got an approval for same location ? or should answer the RFE?
